Answering the Call to Serve: Join the Opus Christi Society

The Opus Christi Society embodies the spirit of “Opus Christi,” or “works of Christ,” by living out our faith through service and compassion. Since 1988, we have been a source of strength for Catholic Charities, providing vital resources to uplift the most vulnerable in the Diocese of Monterey. As a member, you join a community united in faith, actively reducing poverty and promoting justice while deepening your relationship with God and His call to serve.

How Do I Join?

By contributing $1,000 or more annually, you become part of a leadership group dedicated to transformative action across Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and San Luis Obispo Counties.

Members of the Opus Christi Society are invited to exclusive events to show our appreciation, including an annual mass and dinner, hosted by Bishop Daniel Garcia.

Opus Members also have opportunities to expand their impact by engaging directly with meaningful service projects. Together, we deepen our faith, build meaningful connections within our community, and embody Christ’s compassion to serve those in need. Join us in this sacred mission to make a lasting impact through faith, love, and action.
